Of course he does! Just look at all these people who are passionate about him/her/it!
Because lots and lots of people believe in him, this means that my atheist arguments burn like my soul will in a few tens of years.
There are over 1 billion Christians in the world - and that many people can't be wrong, right?
There are another 3 billion who have their own beliefs, and think that Christianity is wrong - and that many people can't be wrong, right?
